Favorite Song

I like lots of songs but for the sake of this assignment, I will use "Demons" by Imagine Dragons.
Here is the link to YouTube:

Anyways, this song is centered on the singer's character which may or may not be the Dan Reynolds himself or a different character altogether. As the title suggests, the song talks about the various view points that he takes on subjects such as fate and responsibility through the lens of someone who has sinned. He talks about wanting to conceal what he has done from the person that he is addressing. He then goes on to talk about 'the beast inside' and how he doesn't want it to corrupt the other person who is implied to be pure. He discusses greed, sinners and hell which goes along with the obvious references to Christianity. He implies that Hell is his 'kingdom come' that also goes along with the implication that he is a sinner.

So that was horrible and I'm going to stop before I ruin the song for myself.

The Assault... yay

1) The Assault is arguing that your past always influences you, even if you are trying to shut it out and forget it. I believe this because Anton's past had always influenced him in all of his opinions and decisions in a rather roundabout way.
2) Yes, I agree with the message of the Assault. A great way to learn and become a better person is to learn from your past and if you ignore it, you will just repeat mistakes that could have easily been avoided. (This will make you look like a fool and a scrub. You don't want to look like a scrub.)
3) I would like to think that people would take the message from this book and apply it to their own lives more often because then we, as a people, would be constantly learning and adapting and if we learn from others mistakes too, we could be really smart and stuff. Yeah.

Hooray
